Online Therapy

Individual Therapy

Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed or ready to understand yourself more deeply?

I offer a warm, grounded space where you feel heard, supported and empowered. People work with me when they experience anxiety, depression, grief, psychosomatic symptoms, autoimmune conditions, body image and food concerns and relationship difficulties.

At the end of your first session, we will discuss your treatment goals. You should evaluate whether you feel comfortable working with me. Typically, therapy is provided over the course of several months and requires a very active effort on your part.

Couples Therapy

Are you tired of having the same fights over and over again? Are you looking for a deeper connection with your partner?

I am trained in Gottman Method Couples Therapy (Level 3). By using the framework for Gottman Method Couples Therapy my aim is to provide you with the tools to make more constructive and more conscious relationship decisions. I would like you, as a couple, to leave fully equipped with the tools to constructively manage conflict and enhance your relationship satisfaction. The couples therapy journey starts off with 4 assessment sessions, as this provides me with the information I need to identify the strengths and challenges of your relationship. In the 4th assessment session I will offer feedback and suggest a treatment plan for the couples therapy.

Assessment sessions:

1st session: Joint

2nd & 3rd session: Individual

4th session: Joint feedback

Clinical Supervision

Are you looking for support and guidance as you aim to do your best work as a therapist?

My training at the University of Johannesburg and the University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa has helped me develop a broad theoretical base in working with my supervisees. I integrate psychodynamic, person-centred and mindfulness approaches. My aim in supervision is to meet you where you are at and to support you in being the best therapist you can be.

I currently only work with adults; however, I have over a decade’s worth of experience working with children, adolescents, parents and teachers in school contexts.

Supervision is generally provided once every second week, unless there is a request for an earlier appointment. If you are a counselling psychologist I apply for CPD points for your supervision (1 CPD point/supervision session). This can easily give you 25 CPD points for the year. I have been successful in obtaining CPD points for supervisees since applying for them in 2019.
